The brand team asked us to bring new energy to a traditionally static campaign by creating animated social ads for the Rate & Win evergreen program. I had been developing a pouring animation for our media group at the time, so the first concept that came to mind was a playful twist: pouring rating stars directly out of the paint can to create an eye‑catching, motion‑driven visual metaphor.
For the second animation, which needed to highlight gift cards, I leaned into slow‑motion cinematics. This approach let me showcase reflections, lighting, and subtle material details that made the cards feel premium and visually engaging in a fast‑scrolling social environment.
Both animations were built in 3ds Max, rendered in V‑Ray, and finished in After Effects—combining product storytelling with polished motion design to elevate a simple campaign into something more dynamic and memorable.
